On Sept 24, over 40 experts and representatives from the energy storage sector convened at the 2024 China New Energy Storage Industry Development Conference. They embarked on an insightful tour across Baotou, visiting the Hydrogen Energy Storage Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park and notable companies like Mingyang North Intelligent Co.

At the Baotou Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, the group marveled at Baotou's rich history and promising future, showcased through stunning digital displays of technological prowess and historical artifacts. The Hydrogen Energy Storage Park revealed a landscape of modern facilities from companies like Bielun Energy and Hydrogen Morning Technology, signifying a vibrant industrial revival.
Reflecting on his visit, Hao Jing, assistant to the chairman of Shenzhen Dechin Construction Group, expressed pride in witnessing Baotou's transformation. He noted the city's commitment to attracting investment, underscoring his plans to contribute to its development.
Participants were particularly intrigued by the advancements in battery technology at Inner Mongolia Shanshan Technology, highlighting how essential materials from the company power many electronic devices. The tour continued at Mingyang North Intelligent Co, where discussions on energy storage material R&D and high-end manufacturing processes sparked further interest.
Zhang Jie, from Hunan Yinfeng New Energy, remarked on Baotou's strategic vision for its energy sector, confirming plans for two new production bases. He emphasized the city's rich resources and supportive policies as crucial advantages for future growth.
The visit fostered valuable exchanges among participants, establishing a robust foundation for collaboration. As Long Zhiqiang from Shanghai Iccsino Data Technology Co stated, "Baotou's open, resource-rich environment makes it an ideal location for energy storage enterprises."
The tour solidified Baotou's status as a burgeoning hub for the energy storage industry.
