The Yangtze River Impressions Film Week kicked off in Wuhan, Central China’s Hubei province on Thursday, with the premiere of New Three Gorges, the country’s first large-scale 3D documentary.
This 60-minute film tells the stories of five ordinary people, interwoven to present the panoramic and dynamic changes brought by the Three Gorges project. The film is expected to be officially released at the end of this year, with both 2D and 3D versions available.
Five internationally renowned film industry veterans, including Chuck Comisky, Kieth Merrill and Jacques Perrin (1941-2022) contributed to the making of the documentary.
