Agile Robots, a leading robotics software company, has established a subsidiary in Liangjiang New Area. This expansion aims to enhance intelligent manufacturing in southwestern China and Southeast Asian markets.
Founded in 2018, Agile Robots has dual headquarters in Munich and Beijing. With its advanced technologies, the company is rapidly expanding into global markets.
Agile Robots' intelligent robotic arm features seven force-controlled sensors, allowing it to precisely manage complex tasks. Using "millisecond-level" high-precision force control technology, the robot can protect fragile parts and expensive equipment.
"The response speed of the robotic arm's perception is controlled to the millisecond," explained Pan Zhang, general manager of Agile Robots Chongqing. He noted that the arm, equipped with a needle-like end effector, can detect the exact distance to a balloon and respond without puncturing it. This technology is used in PCB handling, complex assembly, and other production line upgrades.
Agile Robots has developed high-precision force-control and advanced vision algorithms powered by its proprietary operating system, AgileCore. By processing data collected from the robotic arms, AgileCore can act as the robot's "brain" and make autonomous decisions.
With an integrated force and vision control interface, Agile Robots can connect to various software and hardware devices, enabling faster and smarter deployments. "Using algorithms, the robot can autonomously configure itself for new tasks within a few hours, greatly increasing device utilization rates," Zhang noted.
Agile Robots' advanced collision detection, joint-torque control, and flexibility have led to rapid deployment across medical, agricultural, educational, and service sectors.
"We will focus on key industries in southwest China, such as consumer electronics, automobiles, electronic display screens, and new energy, to deliver advanced intelligent production capabilities and enhance productivity and quality," Zhang said.
Agile Chongqing has already started collaborations with leading companies like BYD. Zhang emphasized that the company will continue to provide intelligent products and solutions to more industries and expand its business to serve individual consumers.
By advancing intelligent manufacturing, Agile Robots is set to significantly boost industrial productivity and efficiency in the region.
