8th Silk Road International Expo kicks off in Xi'an

The 8th Silk Road International Exposition and the Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation Between East and West China kicked off in Xi'an on Sept 20, and will last until 24.

The Shaanxi Provincial Government is hosting the expo under the theme "Deepen Connectivity and Strengthen Economic and Trade Cooperation".

Pakistan is the guest country, with Liaoning and Shandong as guest provinces.

The event features over 10 important meetings and activities, such as the opening ceremony, the signing ceremony, and outcome releases. Key events include the 2024 Shaanxi International Economic and Trade Cooperation Development Exchange, the Qinchuangyuan Technology Achievement Roadshow, and the China (Shaanxi)-South Korea Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum.

The expo at the Xi'an International Convention & Exhibition Center, which spans 72,000 square meters, features five exhibition areas focusing on international exchange, inter-provincial cooperation, transportation logistics, advanced manufacturing, and modern energy.

The expo also continues its online presence, adopting an integrated online and offline approach to provide comprehensive services for domestic and international exhibitors, buyers, and industry professionals.
