The Wuhan Motor Show 2024, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Wuhan Sub-council, is being held from Sept 14 to 19.
Since its inception in 1995, the event has grown to become the largest automotive industry platform in central China, showcasing cutting-edge technology and innovative achievements in the automotive sector.
Dongfeng Motor Corporation, a key participant from the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), exhibited its full range of brands, including Dongfeng Voyah, Dongfeng M-Hero, and Dongfeng eπ.
These brands presented multiple new energy vehicle models, highlighting Dongfeng's latest advancements in transitioning to intelligent-connected new energy vehicles.
The event also featured consumer incentive activities, distributing vouchers that combined with brand discounts to stimulate consumer spending. As of Sept 17, 177,000 vouchers had been distributed, resulting in 986 vehicle orders through participating dealers – a 52 percent increase from last month and an 83 percent increase from last year.
Yu Hong, head of the Wuhan Sub-council, highlighted the council's efforts to organize diverse promotional activities. This fully supports WEDZ in enhancing its brand image and expanding domestic and international markets.
