The Fuquan Road underground pedestrian walkway in the Linkong Business Park, which is in the Changning area of Shanghai's Hongqiao International Central Business District, has completed all inspections and will open for public use on Sept 19, while Exit 5 of Songhong Road Station on Metro Line 2 reopens on Sept 18 after being closed for 14 months, with a newly added downward escalator.
Spanning approximately 280 meters with a width of 7.5 m and height of around 3 m, the walkway connects the intersection of Fuquan Road and Jinzhong Road in the north to the intersection of Fuquan Road and West Tianshan Road in the south, linking to Exit 5 of Songhong Road Station on Metro Line 2.
The passage provides pedestrians with direct access from Songhong Road Station to the recently completed Shanghai Livat complex, allowing further westward travel via the existing connecting passage to reach Shanghai's iconic building Skybridge HQ.

The completion of the walkway will not only enhance pedestrian connectivity but also significantly alleviate pedestrian congestion on Fuquan Road (from West Tianshan Road to Jinzhong Road) during peak hours on workdays.
