The 13th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo finished on Sept 12 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. Over the four-day period, the trade volume of this year's expo reached 11.41 billion yuan ($1.6 billion), with 132,284 visitors.
It featured eight exhibition halls with 1,289 on-site exhibitors and 30,792 exhibits. There were also 2,242 online exhibitors showcasing 16,915 products.
The expo included an opening ceremony, high-end dialogues, activities for international friendship cities, summits, product launch conferences, forums, and special events to discuss the development of the alcoholic beverage industry.
There were also lectures on alcoholic beverage culture, investment promotion events, brand promotion events, and tasting activities.
The expo also featured a series of lifestyle-themed activities centered around alcoholic beverages, showcasing and promoting the integration of alcoholic beverage culture and modern lifestyles. This facilitated cross-industry cooperation between sports, catering, music, culture, and tourism.
The alcoholic beverage lifestyle pavilion opened for the first time, bringing together elements of alcoholic beverages, food, calligraphy, and painting. This created a platform for liquor enthusiasts to taste alcoholic beverages from around the world and experience the fusion of alcoholic beverages and lifestyle.
