Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations to be held in Guilin

During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Guilin Library and Guilin Museum will host a diverse range of Mid-Autumn-themed park activities, inviting citizens and tourists to experience the charm of traditional culture.

On Sept 15 from 10 am to 12 am, the Guilin Library is set to host a traditional Chinese-style park event in the lobby of the Lingui branch. The event includes various activities such as Chinese-style check-ins, book matching games, woodblock printing DIY, stone carving, and Mid-Autumn riddles.

Additionally, lectures on Mid-Autumn customs, book exhibitions, and picture book activities will be offered.

Guilin Museum is set to host a park event in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival from 10 am to 11 am on Sept 15. The event is poised to feature a series of activities such as woodcut printmaking, traditional games like pot throwing, balloon volleyball, table tennis ball clamping, and mooncake squatting, allowing participants to experience the charm of folk culture.

These activities provide participants with an opportunity to experience the allure of traditional culture, fostering joy and cultural richness throughout the Mid-Autumn Festival.
