The Report on Ecological Protection and High-Quality Development of the Yellow River Basin (2024) was officially released on Sept 10 at a seminar in Juungar Banner of Ordos city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The report was compiled by the Inner Mongolia Academy of Social Sciences, with contributions from experts and scholars from the social science academies of nine provinces and autonomous regions, including Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan, and Shandong.
Comprising seven main sections, the report details the practices, progress, and overall trends in advancing ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin from the second half of 2023 to the first half of 2024. It also identifies major challenges and provides corresponding policy recommendations.
