SND crowned as provincial instrument and meter industrial park

Suzhou New District (SND) in East China's Jiangsu province has recently been crowned as the city's first provincial instrument and meter industrial park, recognized by the Jiangsu market regulatory administration.

SND currently accommodates 250 instrument and meter enterprises, covering various sectors, especially in manufacturing drawing and computing instruments, electronic measuring instruments, industrial automatic control system devices, experimental analysis instruments, testing machines, and medical equipment. In 2023, the industry's total output value reached around 24 billion yuan ($3.38 billion).

Looking ahead, SND plans to leverage the abundant resources offered by local research institutions and universities to bolster innovation, building the area into a high-level cluster of instrument and meter industries covering the entire industry chain.
