In the latest release of the "Top 100 Cases of Business Environment in Chinese Development Zones (2024)", the case study submitted by the administrative examination and approval bureau of Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) was selected as a comprehensive typical case, the only one in Nantong.
As one of China's first 14 national-level economic and technological development zones, NETDA has been dedicated to creating the most favorable business environment in recent years.
In recent years, the area has implemented nearly 80 business-specific measures that align with the characteristics of the development zone. Over 300 business demands have been addressed through coordination and resolution efforts.
The conducive business climate has successfully attracted both local and international investors and enterprises. Those opting to establish their presence within the development zone have demonstrated an escalating contentment with the prevailing business environment. The satisfaction index has risen from 85 percent in 2022 to over 95 percent.
