Nantong attractions offer celebrations for Mid-Autumn Festival

With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, tourist attractions and cultural facilities in Nantong, Jiangsu province, unveiled their traditional Chinese festival celebrations.

Langshan Mountain scenic area is set to offer a dance drama at Bailang Square at 9 am on Sept 15.

City Valley is set to arrange themed parties. At the same time, the Qitang Immersive Amusement Park is expected to offer a music carnival featuring traditional Chinese music, dance, and popular music from Sept 15 to 17.

The Evergrande Venice Resort is set to host a festival on Sept 15, featuring a spectacular lineup of events commencing at 6:30 pm, including fire dances, musical performances, magic shows, acrobatic displays, and a stunning fireworks presentation.

Concerts and stage shows are also expected during the upcoming festival, such as the drama Steam Worlds at Nantong Grand Theater on Sept 15, Yueju Opera A Dream of the Red Mansions at Qidong Poly Grand Theater on Sept 16, and the dance drama Gala at Haimen Grand Theater from Sept 14 to 15.

Museums in the city are set to provide diverse exhibitions, including the Chinese Calligraphy Lanting Award Exhibition, the Exhibition of the Development History of Huangmei Opera at Jiangsu Jianghai Museum, and the itinerant exhibition of contemporary Chinese paintings by Jiangsu artists at Nantong Museum from Sept 3 to 18.
