As Beijing officially entered the "CIFTIS Time" on Sept 12, the much-anticipated "Bravo to Beijing: Culture Tour of Beijing Opera" also unveiled itself at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), hosted within the Culture and Tourism Section on the second floor of Hall 1 at the Shougang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Suspended in the exhibition space, a full moon, glowing faintly behind translucent veils, evokes the harmonious and natural beauty of Chinese aesthetics, immediately capturing visitors' attention.

The exhibition also features the Photo Exhibition of Mei Lanfang's Overseas Cultural Exchange, a healthy beverage area of "Culture Tour of Beijing Opera: Tea of Seasons", an intangible cultural heritage experience zone, and a display area for Beijing Opera cultural and creative products. Through cross-industry integration and enhanced technological interactions, leveraging Beijing's tourism resources, and adopting a systematic approach to developing new high-quality productive forces, the exhibition creates a "one-stop" immersive Beijing Opera experience that is both visual and interactive, offering new opportunities for the global cultural and tourism market.

This year's "Bravo to Beijing: Culture Tour of Beijing Opera" coincides with the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, where a bright full moon cast a silver glow into the exhibition hall. Under the moonlight, in the dreamy ambiance of intertwining shadows from ginkgo and osmanthus trees, performers from the Beijing Opera and Kunqu Opera Department of the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts make a surprise appearance, presenting Mei school classics such as The Drunken Beauty and Chang'e Flying to the Moon. Together, they offer the audience a romantic Mid-Autumn festival experience. A unique aspect is the 360-degree panoramic view, with carefully designed details at every angle, allowing visitors to experience "a new scene with every step". Many attendees commented that the atmosphere enabled them to fully immerse themselves in the exquisite world of Beijing Opera.

A highlight of the exhibition is Mei Lanfang's Overseas Cultural Exchange Photo Exhibition in celebration of the 130th anniversary of Mei's birth. This 20-meter-long exhibition, styled like a giant film reel, circles the exhibition space, presenting precious historical images and detailed descriptions that take the audience on a time-traveling journey through Mei's glorious moments during his overseas performances. From Japan and the United States to Europe, every overseas performance by Mei was a stunning showcase of Chinese culture. With the support of new technologies such as NFC, visitors can go beyond the one-way presentation typical of traditional exhibitions, freely choosing to listen to classic Mei school Beijing Opera performances and, across the span of time, engage in a "face-to-face" dialogue with Beijing Opera masters.
