The 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade recently concluded in Xiamen, along with the 2024 BRICS Forum on Partnership on New Industrial Revolution and the BRICS New Industrial Revolution Exhibition. Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, also known as Wuxi New District, was one of the five high-tech zones in China invited to participate in the event.

WND showcased its economic and technological cooperation with European countries, particularly highlighting the progress of the China-EU Industrial Innovation Zone launched in November 2023. The zone spans 24.5 square kilometers and includes sub-zones dedicated to partnerships with Germany, Israel, France, and Sweden, targeting industries such as smart equipment, automotive parts, and new energy.
WND has attracted substantial European investment, with leading companies such as AstraZeneca, Siemens, Schneider Electric, and Atlas Copco operating in the zone. EU countries have invested in 166 projects in WND, with a total investment of 15 billion euros ($16.53 billion).
At the exhibition, three local companies—Jiangsu Leadmicro Nano Technology, Lobo Electric Vehicle, and Falcon Rapid Manufacturing Technology—also presented their cutting-edge technologies, further promoting WND's role in international industrial cooperation.
