On Sept 6, amidst the enthusiastic atmosphere of the 38th Mount Tai International Mountaineering Festival, Mount Tai Scenic Area welcomed another grand event: the Mount Tai International Friendly Cooperation Scenic Area Promotion Event.
This event attracted representatives from Hanasan in South Korea, Mont Saint-Michel in France, Aragats Mountain in Armenia, as well as representatives from domestic mountainous scenic areas such as Huangshan, Emei Mountain, Wuyishan, Mount Hua, Mount Song, and Mount Heng, gathering together to seek new chapters of tourism cooperation and work together to create a brilliant future.
Feng Nengbin, deputy mayor of Tai’an, detailed the significant achievements Tai'an has made in the development of cultural tourism industry in recent years. He emphasized that Mount Tai is not only the pride of the people of Tai'an, but also a precious treasure for all humanity. Through this promotion event, he hoped to further strengthen the connections with friendly cooperative scenic areas, explore new models and paths of tourism cooperation, achieve mutually beneficial outcomes, and create a better future for tourism together.
During the event, representatives from Mount Tai Scenic Area and Aragats Mountain Scenic Area in Armenia signed a friendly cooperation agreement to deepen cooperation in sharing tourism resources, market promotion, and two-way circulation of tourists among other points. The signing hopes to promote the prosperity and development of tourism industry in both regions, and provide richer and more diverse tourism experiences for visitors from both sides.
