The Aerospace Information Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (AIR-CAS) and the Changsha Technology Research Institute of BeiDou Industry Safety signed strategic agreements with Liangjiang New Area during the 2024 Aerospace Information Industry International Ecosystem Conference in Chongqing on Sept 3.
Under these agreements, AIR-CAS, renowned for its comprehensive technological innovation system spanning the entire aerospace information chain from space to ground, will collaborate further with Liangjiang New Area.
This partnership will make use of both parties' business resources, policy support, capital, and market access, fostering diversified and multi-tiered cooperation to build a robust industrial ecosystem.
Chongqing Liangjiang Aviation and Aerospace Industry Group and Chongqing Zhihui Tianheng Technology Co, a subsidiary of Changsha Technology Research Institute of BeiDou Industry Safety, also signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
Zhihui Tianheng will establish its presence in Liangjiang, focusing on strategic emerging industries and future-oriented sectors. The company will engage in integrated navigation, communication, spatiotemporal security, and enhancement applications and support the construction and operation of major national engineering infrastructures, particularly in the low-altitude economy and commercial aerospace sectors.
The Changsha Technology Research Institute of BeiDou Industry Safety has established over 10 innovation platforms and achieved significant breakthroughs in core technologies, such as on-chip simulation for satellite navigation systems.
