Xi'an announced 46 nighttime performance destinations

The theme of the 5th annual night carnival, "Chang'an Night, My Night", was splendidly presented at the Chang'an Yue Belt and Road Culture & Art Center in Xi'an on Sept 4.

The activity showcased the unique charm of the city's nighttime performances through the show Omni Chang'an.

The performance integrated intangible cultural heritage and technology, with every detail exuding historical charm and cultural significance. The exquisite stage design and captivating storyline led the audience on a journey through time, experiencing the prosperity and splendor of the area's history.

At the activity, 46 nighttime performance destinations offered diverse choices for residents and visitors.

Among these were 15 classic theaters, five venues for intangible cultural heritage performances, 16 comedy venues, and 10 music venues.

In recent years, Xi'an has combined its historical and cultural heritage with its abundant cultural tourism resources to continuously build a reputation as the "city of performing arts". The city has introduced numerous popular performing arts products, attracting attention from national and international tourists.
