Taizhou in Jiangsu is making significant strides in becoming a youth and talent-friendly city by strengthening institutional innovations and policy support. Over the past three years, the city has attracted over 30,000 young talents annually and recruited approximately 2,800 high-level professionals.

One of the city's innovative initiatives is the "Taizhou Day" series of events. This year, Taizhou has sent representatives to 40 universities with more than 20,000 job positions offered by over 1,500 local companies. It plans to continue this initiative, aiming to visit around 100 universities in and outside the province over the next three years and provide more than 100,000 high-quality job opportunities for graduates.

To cater to the needs of youth and talent, Taizhou has launched weekend carnivals focusing on sports, socializing, entertainment, and family activities. Events such as marathons, music festivals, and drama festivals offer fresh and enjoyable weekend experiences for young people. In the first half of this year alone, the city has hosted 45 weekend carnivals with over 80,000 attendees.

This year, an investment of 350,000 yuan ($48,194.11) has been made to develop an app and WeChat mini-program, offering services such as housing reservations, online payments, and property maintenance. Since its trial launch in late March, the mini-program has helped over 300 talents secure housing in the China Medical City talent apartments.
