Aerospace information industry conference kicks off in Chongqing

The Aerospace Information Industry International Ecosystem Conference 2024 commenced in Chongqing on Sept 3, bringing together over 500 distinguished guests, including academicians experts, scholars, and leaders from top enterprises.

This gathering marks the 30th anniversary of the Beidou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) and will feature discussions on the future of Beidou's large-scale applications and the broader aerospace information industry.

A key highlight was the release of the "Initiative to Promote the Large-Scale Application and High-Quality Development of the Beidou Industry", calling on the industry to collaborate in five key areas: infrastructure, collaborative innovation, exploring application scenarios, constructing industrial chains, and fostering an industrial ecosystem.

Additionally, the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and China Satellite Network Group Co launched an initiative to pilot and innovate in promoting the large-scale application of the Beidou system.
