The Wuhan Auto Renewal Consumption Season was launched in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), also known as China Auto Valley, on Sept 3.
The China Auto Valley Brand Operation Center was unveiled during the event and is set to play a pivotal role in enhancing consumer activity in the automotive sector.
The event also saw the launch of a car consumption voucher distribution campaign, which will run until Dec 31. The center plans to distribute a total of 100 million yuan ($14.07 million) worth of car consumption vouchers to the public.
The operation center comprises three indoor exhibition areas and one outdoor exhibition area, aiming to create a comprehensive platform for showcasing and selling "auto valley-made" products, promoting brands, and integrating and expanding commercial resources.
It is a modern, large-scale, multipurpose operation center that offers exhibition, display, sales, experience, and comprehensive support services.
Dongfeng Motor Corporation, whose headquarters are located in the zone, recently introduced a 10-billion-yuan subsidy, providing one-stop services for car loans, old car replacements, and resource recycling.
Dongfeng also signed agreements with Hongshan district and Huangpi district to co-build the Dongfeng Auto Mall, offering comprehensive services for consumers purchasing Dongfeng vehicles.
In addition, 12 auto dealers for brands including Voyah Auto and Lotus NYO, along with six electronic appliance companies such as Gree, Midea, and Haier, have officially agreed to establish a presence at the operation center.
Representatives of the operation center and the Live Streaming Center of Dongfeng Mall presented consumption vouchers to model workers, teachers, and healthcare workers.
