Nantong University in Jiangsu province inked an agreement with Hong Kong Baptist University to jointly cultivate undergraduates and master's students in science disciplines.
According to the agreement, NTU's School of Physics and Technology will select students aiming to pursue both bachelor's and master's degrees in science for the program.
These students are set to complete their undergraduate and master's studies within five academic years. The first three years will be spent at NTU's School of Physics and Technology.
In the fourth year of their undergraduate program and throughout their master's studies, they are expected to engage in academic pursuits at the Department of Physics at HKBU.
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a bachelor's degree certificate and an undergraduate diploma from NTU, as well as a master's degree certificate from HKBU.
Xu Jun, vice-principal of NTU, expressed hopes for deeper collaboration and exchange between the two universities, leveraging their respective strengths to enhance the international competitiveness of both institutions.
Hong Kong Baptist University, where courses are conducted in English, is authorized by the government to award doctoral, master's, and bachelor's degrees. According to the QS World University Rankings 2024, the university is ranked 252nd globally.
