The curtain rose on the 8th Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Cultural Industry Expo Fair on Aug 29 – taking place in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – setting the stage for a vibrant showcase of cultural richness and commercial opportunities.
Running five days to Sept 2, the expo features 10 major exhibition areas. It brings together over 500 companies from more than 20 countries and regions, as well as 25 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across China.
At the venue, a colorful array of cultural displays, cutting-edge technologies, as well as leading intellectual property and cultural production projects are standing side by side, offering visitors a great treat.
This year's expo is continuing to expand its network, attracting top domestic cultural and tourism brands such as the Grand Canal Museum, the Luoyang Museum and the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum Museum.
With cultural elites jostling each other on the same stage, visitors strolling through the different exhibition areas can fully immerse themselves in the diverse charm and vitality of Chinese culture.
As visitors enjoy new experiences and businesses seize opportunities, the expo is abuzz with vigorous networking, promotions and unveiling activities, mirroring the excitement on the ground.
Alongside the expo, three themed events and a series of sideline activities – including the 3rd Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region IP (Brand) Creative Design Competition and intangible cultural heritage performances – are being held concurrently.
They all aim to facilitate precise connections and in-depth exchanges between industry players through case studies, project showcases, product introductions and distinctive displays.
