Construction on Arlanxeo-TSRC's new factory near completion

The Arlanxeo-TSRC (Nantong) Chemical Industrial Co Ltd is set to complete construction on its new factory in the fourth quarter of this year.

The factory's designed production capacity for nitrile rubber is expected to increase from 30,000 to 40,000 metric tons upon completion.

Established by Arlanxeo and TSRC in 2020, Arlanxeo-TSRC is located in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area.

In 2021, in response to the ecological and environmental protection needs along the Yangtze River in Nantong, Arlanxeo-TSRC planned to relocate the factory from the northern section of the NETDA Chemical Industrial Park to the southern section.

Li Xingwei, vice-general manager of the company, said, "Through this relocation, we can increase the designed production capacity. By adopting advanced safety and environmental protection standards, we align more closely with the country's new requirements for green development."

While chemical industrial land is scarce, NETDA has been coordinating with the company since the initial planning of the new factory, forming a dedicated team to address land-related issues, said Li. "It is with the strong support of the development area that we have been able to establish one of the most modern nitrile rubber factories globally," Li added.

Li also expressed the company's commitment to leveraging the positive atmosphere of government-enterprise cooperation to deepen technological innovation, promote green development, and contribute to advancing new quality productive forces in Nantong.
