The 38th Dazeshan Grape Festival will open on Sept 7 in Dazeshan town, Pingdu city in Qingdao, and will run until late October. The festival not only highlights the qualities of Dazeshan grapes – quality, green, and plump, but also uses grapes as a platform for boosting rural vitalization. It also advances the integrated development of local culture and tourism.
Compared to previous years, this year's grape festival features many new changes. Through creative formats such as micro-dramas, live interviews, and intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, the event content is more diverse and showcases new highlights in fashionable celebrations.
Two rural music concerts will highlight grape harvest scenes and create a festive atmosphere. Subsequent activities include the "Dazeshan Joyful Singing" village evening event, where villagers take center stage in self-produced, directed, and performed cultural programs.
Cultural empowerment will enrich the festival's essence. By delving into the cultural significance of Dazeshan grapes, planning grape tourism routes, and creating themed itineraries, high-end boutique gifts will be developed to promote the diversified development of Dazeshan grape brand. The opening ceremony will also include intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, creative markets, and urban exchange banquets, enriching the cultural product offerings.
Throughout the grape festival, a wide range of colorful activities will present a spectacle for the masses, combining cultural and artistic performances, leisurely picking, grape wine tasting, exquisite intangible heritage exhibitions, and unique grape cultural experiences.
