With charging infrastructures for new energy vehicles accelerating, as well as features such as intelligence, low-cost use and convenience, NEVs are now increasingly recognized by consumers, with more and more opting to buy them in China.
In July, the retail sales of passenger cars reached 1.72 million units in the country, with new energy vehicle companies selling 880,000 units, surpassing the fuel-powered vehicles' monthly sales of 840,000 units for the first time, according to China Passenger Car Association.
