Japan Aviation Electronics (JAE) signed an agreement on Aug 27 to increase its investment in Wuxi New District, or Xinwu district, by introducing an advanced component project. The project will feature production lines dedicated to emerging sectors such as new energy vehicles.

This expansion is intended to improve the company's technological capabilities and production capacity, paving the way for fully automated manufacturing and bolstering its market competitiveness.

Cui Rongguo, Party secretary of Xinwu district, noted that since its establishment in the district in 2001, JAE has become one of the most representative Japanese enterprises in the area. Cui expressed hope that JAE would continue to explore new business opportunities in fields such as NEVs and aerospace, and bring more innovative projects, products, and resources to WND.

Fuminobu Ono, general manager of JAE Wuxi, praised the rapid development of WND, noting its strong industrial foundation, vibrant research environment, and robust innovation ecosystem. He affirmed the group's confidence in the region's growth prospects.

Established in 1953 and headquartered in Tokyo, JAE holds a leading position in various sectors including electronic communications, industrial manufacturing, and rail transportation.
