In various regions of Taizhou, including Hailing district, Jiangyan district, and Taixing city, traditional Chinese medicine night markets have been held, offering free consultations to patients to enhance grassroots TCM service capabilities. This innovative and down-to-earth approach has sparked a wave of enthusiasm for TCM in local communities.

"As a TCM practitioner for over 20 years, I am pleased to see more and more people recognizing the value of traditional Chinese medicine," said Kong Xiaohu, deputy director of the Central Health Center in Jiulong town, Hailing, Taizhou.

Across Taizhou, there are now 16 provincial-level fifth-grade TCM clinics capable of providing standardized services in 10 categories, equipped with over 300 types of Chinese herbal medicines and various TCM treatment devices.

Furthermore, since 2019, the Taizhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Service Association has been organizing free public training courses and skills competitions. They have enlisted social organizations that run TCM healthcare services as members and standardized TCM services.

Over 500 participants in the training courses have transitioned to new positions through these initiatives. The competition has also identified a number of outstanding TCM talents, contributing to the promotion and development of traditional Chinese medicine services in the region.
