A seminar on how Hong Kong's business advantages boost Shaanxi enterprises' global supply chain optimization and sustainability was held on Aug 27 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.
The event brought together 20 key executives from advanced manufacturing and smart manufacturing companies in Shaanxi to discuss using Hong Kong's international platform to enhance global supply chain operations, expand global markets, and promote sustainable development.
The seminar focused on Hong Kong's strengths in global supply chains and highlighted its advantages in assisting mainland enterprises in upgrading and transforming their industrial and supply chains amid the complex and evolving global landscape.
Representatives from the Hong Kong SAR Government's office for key enterprises introduced Hong Kong's policies for enterprises looking to establish a presence in the region, sharing insights on advanced manufacturing, smart manufacturing developments, and opportunities. They encouraged Shaanxi and Xi'an companies to use Hong Kong's services, resources, cost advantages in the Greater Bay Area region, and supplier networks to explore new business opportunities and markets.
Additionally, experts from various industries, such as the Hong Kong Logistics Association, HSBC, and Deloitte, guided Xi'an enterprises on critical aspects of financial management, trade financing, and tax considerations as they navigate international expansion strategies.
