The list of the top 100 most influential 5A-level scenic area brands (MBI) for this year was released recently, with Mount Tai Scenic Area ranking fourth.
Among the top 10 scenic areas on the list were the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace in Beijing, the Yuelu Mountain and Orange Isle Tourist Area in Changsha, Hunan province, Mount Tai in Shandong's Tai'an, the ancient city of Pingyao in Jinzhong, Shanxi province, and Huangshan Scenic Area in Anhui's Huangshan.
The data for the list comes from the Meadin Brand Index (MBI), which compiles statistics from 339 scenic areas based on the July MBI. The index (scenic park brand section) mainly analyzes the brand's influence on the Internet and mobile Internet in four categories: search index, review index, operation index, and media index.
According to Meadin Research Institute monitoring, the average MBI brand index for the top 100 5A-level scenic areas was 358.9, a month-on-month increase of 1.13 percent and a year-on-year decrease of 3.02 percent. In the national 5A-level scenic area sub-list, Mount Tai ranked first among the top 10 natural landscape scenic areas and first among the top 10 scenic areas in the East China region.
