On Aug 21, Yoshihiro Matsushita, president of Nissin Electric, visited Wuxi New District to discuss the future development of Nissin Electric's Wuxi factories and to explore opportunities for further collaboration.

Nissin Electric, a Japanese company founded over 100 years ago, specializes in the research, development, and manufacturing of high-voltage transformers. The company is a leader in the Japanese market, with products sold in 45 countries and regions, and has factories or offices in countries including China, the United States, Thailand, and Malaysia.

In WND, Nissin Electric has established two subsidiaries, and Nissin Electric Wuxi is the company's largest production and R&D base outside Japan.

Zhou Wendong, vice-mayor of Wuxi, said that Nissin Electric's focus on environmentally-friendly power equipment, energy management, and distributed energy aligns well with Wuxi's rapidly-developing new energy industry. He expressed hope that Nissin Electric will continue to strengthen its partnership with Wuxi and integrate more of its headquarters' R&D functions into the Wuxi plant.

Matsushita said that the company plans to establish more R&D teams and enhance manufacturing capabilities, seizing new development opportunities to expand both Chinese and international markets.
