Global promotion event highlights charm of Greater Huangshan

On Aug 23, the Global Promotion Conference for Greater Huangshan Tourism Area was held at the People's Daily New Media Building. The event aimed to boost the international presence of the "Greater Huangshan" tourism brand.

Under the theme "Misty Greater Huangshan: A Spiritual Retreat," eight representatives from various fields served as promotion specialists, sharing their personal stories and showcasing the unique allure of the area. The event highlighted Huangshan's global reputation as a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage site, with Anhui province aiming to develop it into a modern service industry cluster.

Notable speakers included Li Peisheng and Hu Xiaochun, who shared their experiences working in Huangshan, and Wang Chunyan, who presented local traditional craftsmanship. An expatriate also shared his journey of making Huangshan his home, while renowned Huangmei opera artist Han Zaifen described the region as her spiritual sanctuary.

The event concluded with a commitment from the speakers to actively promote Greater Huangshan through various channels, further enhancing its cultural and tourism appeal. Their efforts are expected to draw more visitors to experience the area's rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant culture.
