On Aug 2, the preparatory meeting of the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) was held in Xiamen, Fujian. 

Preparations for the 24th CIFIT are proceeding smoothly, with over 300 domestic and foreign business groups and enterprises from more than 50 countries and regions registered to participate. 

Nearly 200 high-level guests, who are slated to receive invitations in the name of provincial and municipal leaders, have been identified. Hungary and Zhejiang province will also make appearances as the guest country of honor and guest province of honor, respectively.

The 24th CIFIT is scheduled to take place in Xiamen from Sept 8 to 11, with the theme of "Investment Connecting the World". The event will be divided into four main sections: major activities, exhibition showcases, a series of international investment promotion events, and authoritative information releases.

Moreover, this year's Cloud CIFIT will enhance roadshows, AI-driven recommendations, and intelligent matchmaking features, as well as elevate the experience for those participating online, aiming to blend online and in-person investment promotion and create a "never-ending" fair that operates 365 days a year.

The fair plans to utilize an exhibition area of 120,000 square meters for exhibition showcases, featuring a central exhibition area and three themed pavilions focusing on investment promotion, industrial innovation and development, and project capital matchmaking, respectively.

This year's CIFIT will deepen practical global cooperation and emphasize the high-quality attraction of foreign investment.

Additionally, a national supply chain innovation exhibition area will be set up, coinciding with the hosting of the 5th China Supply Chain Management Annual Conference.
