On Aug 20, the construction site of the Chengkan Integrated Transportation and Tourism Service Area in Huizhou was bustling, aiming for completion of the project and delivery by the end of September.
The Chengkan Integrated Transportation and Tourism Service Area project, located near the Chengkan Scenic Area and Daling Mountain Resort, is the first pilot project of its kind in Anhui province. The project includes the addition of an interchange and toll station, as well as comprehensive upgrades to the service area. This encompasses the construction of the interchange and roads, supporting toll booths, and road protection works. In addition, the service area plaza, charging stations, and parking spaces will be enhanced.
The underpass project of the interchange ramp bridge has been completed, and the renovation and expansion of the service area and supporting projects are in full swing. Over 300 workers and 50 pieces of machinery are involved in the construction daily. The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of September.
This project represents a significant step forward in integrating transportation and tourism, providing a model for future developments in the region. It is set to become an important service hub, enhancing the overall travel experience for visitors and promoting local tourism and economic growth.
