Shanghai's first newly constructed Airport Link Line, connecting the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and the Shanghai Pudong International Airport, is set to commence operations by the end of the year. The line showcases several design and technological innovations and provides a fast, efficient, and comfortable travel experience.

With its completion, the link will slash travel time between the two major airports to approximately 40 minutes, becoming the best choice for commuters, business travelers, and local residents.

The line's unique design allows trains to run smoothly at high speeds, and spacious compartments significantly enhance comfort while providing high-quality, people-oriented services for passengers.

The new line spans 68.6 kilometers with nine stations, passing through Minhang, Xuhui, and Pudong districts, able to reach a top speed of 160 kilometers per hour.

Serving as a vital link to key transportation hubs, the Airport Link Line aims to enhance Shanghai's rail transit network and comprehensive urban transportation capacity. The line will strengthen connections with the Yangtze River Delta region, improving integrated transport services.
