The Heilongjiang Ice and Snow Sculpture Artisan and Creative Design Academy was officially established in Harbin, capital of Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, on Aug 14.
The establishment of the academy signifies that the Longjiang Forest Industry Group will cultivate more talents in the field of ice and snow culture and creative design, propelling Heilongjiang's ice and snow cultural creative design to new heights.
The academy will adopt a so-called "government-enterprise-school cooperation, industry-education-research integration" educational model, seamlessly connecting teaching with social needs and industrial development while also promoting the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, as well as the coordinated development of the industrial chain.
The academy will focus on ice and snow sculpture and creative design, setting up relevant majors and courses in these two core areas.
By combining market demand and technological trends, the curriculum system will be continuously optimized to ensure that trainees can quickly adapt to job requirements upon completion of their training.
The goal is to establish the academy as a base for honing and passing on the artisan spirit, an innovative service hub for outstanding artisans, and an educational hub for artisan talent.
