Medals debut for Mount Tai intl climbing event

The medals for the 38th Taishan International Climbing Competition were officially unveiled on Aug 14. The event will be held on Sept 6 on Mount Tai in Tai'an.

The design of the medals was inspired by Mount Tai, showcasing the beauty of the rolling mountain ridges and symbolizing the honor and unbreakable spirit of the climbers.

At the center of the medal is a rotating element, which incorporates aspects of both climbing and hiking, adding a dynamic touch. The rotating piece is engraved with the mascot and the logo of the climbing competition.

The material of the medal strikes a balance between texture and weight, reflecting the strength and determination of the climbers. The meticulous craftsmanship highlights details such as the event name and iconic Mount Tai cultural structures.
