The newly-inaugurated East China headquarters represents a total investment of 200 million yuan ($27.89 million) and is the largest automotive design center in China. The center also plans to expand into new areas such as vehicle modification in the future.
Wang Xun, chairman of the group, praised the excellent business environment in WND, noting that it has provided strong support for Launch's growth. He emphasized the company's commitment to increasing R&D investment and driving technological innovation and industrial upgrading.
In 2023, WND's automotive parts industry exceeded 100 billion yuan in output, largely thanks to prominent companies such as Bosch, Cummins, Faurecia, and Bridgestone. The district has developed a comprehensive industrial chain, including engines and components, automotive electronics, interior and exterior parts, and chassis systems.
