Yili wins 5th consecutive Thai FDA Quality Award

Yili Group's Thai subsidiary has been honored with the 2024 Thai FDA Quality Award, making it the only Chinese company to receive the accolade this year.

This marks Yili's fifth consecutive win of the prestigious award, showcasing its global leadership in quality management. Somsak Thepsuthin, Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health, presented the award, highlighting Yili's commitment to exceptional standards.

The Thai FDA Quality Award, organized by Thailand's Ministry of Public Health, recognizes companies that excel in health-promoting products and adhere to high ethical and social responsibility standards. Award candidates undergo rigorous evaluations of their facilities, processes, and compliance standards.

Yili's Thai plant impressed judges with its standards, cleanliness, and automation, setting itself apart from its contenders. The company's adherence to international dairy standards and ongoing improvement efforts have solidified its reputation for producing high-quality products. Yili has significantly upgraded production and quality management, introduced innovative products tailored to local tastes, and extended its quality control to suppliers.

Supported by Yili Group, their Thai subsidiary has achieved an annual ice cream production of 20,000 metric tons and sales growth of over 16.5 percent in the past three years. They have emerged as one of Thailand's fastest-growing ice cream brands, selling products in 14 countries.
