The 2024 FMJD (World Draughts Federation) World Cup Xintai Open kicked off in Xintai, a county-level city of Tai'an, on Aug 13, and will last until Aug 18.
Over 100 competitors from 21 teams representing nine countries and regions are competing in the competition.
The event is organized by the World Draughts Federation and hosted by the Chess and Card Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Shandong Administration of Sports, and the Xintai government.
