As the countdown to the 12th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minority reached 100 days on Aug 14, the cultural symbols for its volunteer service, the first commemorative postal envelope for the 100-day countdown were unveiled, as well as the first flagship store for licensed merchandise display.
The volunteer service’s cultural symbols, including volunteer nickname, logo, service slogan, and theme song, not only reflect Sanya's rich historical and cultural heritage as the "Deer City" but also symbolize the enthusiastic, dedicated, and united spirit of the volunteers, akin to the characteristics of deer.
The commemorative postal items for this edition of the games include 2,000 commemorative postal envelopes, 2,000 commemorative postal albums, 3,000 commemorative envelopes, and commemorative postal postcards distributed nationwide.
The postal album showcases stamps representing the 56 ethnic groups of China and each stamp is designed to showcase the unique characteristics and cultural heritage of each ethnic group, presenting a splendid display of the diverse yet unified Chinese family.
Over 80 licensed merchandise items are now available for sale at the first flagship store for licensed merchandise display. The licensed merchandise includes products in 15 categories totaling 428 items, gradually being made available for sale.
Notably, the leading domestic trendy brand, Pop Mart, is deeply involved in large-scale sports event licensing operations for the first time and has specially designed six blind box products for this edition of the games, set to be released by the end of October.
