To ensure bidding experts act with integrity in public resource trading, the Wendeng Branch of Weihai Public Resource Trading Center has introduced training programs to boost skills and promote a fair, transparent and equitable trading environment.
The Wendeng Branch has set up a "mini-classroom" for expert training, using videos to cover key topics like the “10 Dos and Don’ts”, behavioral norms, the bidding process, and common pitfalls and risks. These videos are shown repeatedly while experts wait for their evaluations. Since February, three video series have been created, totaling over 120 viewings.
The branch has also introduced "warning mini-cards", highlighting cases of misconduct by bidding experts from various regions. These cards aim to remind experts to stay vigilant and uphold their professional standards. Four sets of these warning mini-cards have been issued.
Additionally, the organization has compiled a "mini-guide to evaluations" that tackles common issues and challenges faced during the evaluation process. This guide features over 20 Q&A entries and is displayed prominently in the evaluation room.
To further support expert development, the branch has conducted "skill mini-tests" derived from key training content. These 10-question self-assessment tests allow experts to gauge their knowledge and stay sharp. So far, three rounds have been completed, with over 100 experts participating.
