The proposed Xiamen Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone is located in Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport area, which will be situated in the south of Xiang'an district and along Airport North Road on Dadeng Island. It will have a total planning area of 280.7 hectares.
The bonded zone will focus on the development of aviation maintenance and manufacturing, international logistics, cross-border e-commerce, bonded processing and R&D, and high-end commerce and trade services, as well as high-tech industries.
In the meantime, it aims to develop a service-oriented BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Innovation Base and tap into the abundant resources of the Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone and other special functional areas to achieve complementary win-win development through resource sharing.

• Building itself into an international aviation hub, a regional economic growth pole, a demonstration zone for integrated industry and urban development, and a forefront for cross-strait integration.
- Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport
This new airport is located on Dadeng Island, Xiangan district, and positioned as an important international airport, a regional aviation hub and a cross-Straits exchange gateway in China. It is expected to be open to traffic in 2026.
The zone is planned as a start-up area for Xiamen's aviation industry, to consist of a customized and general plant area, a lifestyle support area and an office area. It will meet the needs of relocation, capital increase and production expansion presented by the enterprises in the existing Xiamen Gaoqi Aviation Industrial Zone, and will offer accelerated implementation of new investment projects, serving as a platform to strengthen and complement Xiamen's aviation industry chain.
