Harbin and Shenzhen achieve 119 collaborative projects in 7 years

In a remarkable testament to regional cooperation and development, the cities of Harbin in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province and Shenzhen in Guangdong province have implemented a total of 119 cooperative projects over the past seven years.

This collaboration aligns with national strategies for regional coordinated development, the vitalization of the Northeast China region, and the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The cumulative planned investment for these projects stands at 113.68 billion yuan ($15.57 billion), with 41.04 billion yuan already invested.

At the heart of this partnership is the development of the Shenzhen-Harbin Industrial Park, a pioneering initiative exploring the "enclave" model of development.

The industrial park has successfully transplanted 105 advanced practices and innovations from Shenzhen, including the separation of bidding and evaluation processes and the introduction of new industrial land.

To date, the core area of the industrial park has seen an investment of 5.12 billion yuan. It boasts 662 registered enterprises with a total registered capital of 23.91 billion yuan.
