A Cambodia China Journalist Association delegation embarked on a visit on Aug 1 to the prefecture-level city of Liaoyuan in Northeast China's Jilin province to delve into its industrial advances and cultural and tourism attractions.
The delegation started by exploring key industries in Liaoyuan, beginning with a visit to Houde Food Co which was established in 2007 and has since grown to become a comprehensive, full supply chain food enterprise.
With numerous certifications and honors, the company has been widely recognized for its significant processing capabilities, extensive farming scale and commitment to brand development and technological innovation.
The delegation toured Houde's egg-laying poultry farms and feed processing facilities and learned about the company’s product innovation and life sciences.
They also visited the Northern Socks Group, where they were impressed by the variety and innovation in products like ski socks and compression socks.
Moving on to check out cultural tourism, the delegation explored several attractions including the Super ONE Basketball Theme Park, the Yuedong Liaoyuan Huanlehui area and the Natu Theme Park.
The visitors also attended the opening ceremony of the fifth Liaoyuan Pipa Art Week, experiencing the rich cultural and artistic heritage of Liaoyuan.
