Yantai adds two provincial-level tourist leisure blocks

Yantai has recently announced the inclusion of Yantai Night Carnival and Hongkou 1920 in the updated list of provincial-level tourist and leisure blocks, as released by the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. This addition brings the total number of such designated blocks to five.

Situated within the Yantai Golden Beach National Tourist Resort, the Yantai Night Carnival Tourist and Leisure Block represents a comprehensive tourist and leisure zone. This block integrates a broad spectrum of activities, including tourism, culture, wellness, sports, and entertainment. It offers a range of nighttime services, including dining, shopping, and leisure services.

This block focuses on meeting the increasingly sophisticated and diverse tourism consumption demands of citizens and visitors, crafting cultural tourism centered on traditional Yantai culture and sports tourism centered on sporting events.

Located in Yantai's Chefoo district, the Hongkou 1920 Historical and Cultural Block comprises 21 early 20th-century Western-style villa buildings. Historically, this area served as a key commercial hub in Yantai.

Emphasizing a micro-vacation concept, Hongkou 1920 combines afternoon tea with cultural spaces, gradually repurposing these historic buildings to offer a distinctive coastal vacation experience.
