The C919, China's first domestically-produced large passenger aircraft, landed smoothly at Hangzhou International Airport in Xiaoshan district at 9:59 am on July 31. This marks the airport's first reception of the C919, identified by the registration number B-001F.
The flight departed from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport at 8:19 am for a repositioning mission with no passengers onboard, primarily for route training purposes.
The C919 is China's first large single-aisle aircraft manufactured to meet the latest international airworthiness standards, featuring autonomous intellectual property rights. It can accommodate up to 190 passengers and has a maximum range of 5,555 kilometers. The C919 is already in commercial operation on various routes in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu.
During its one-hour layover, Hangzhou International Airport efficiently completed ground support operations, including docking, loading and unloading cargo, and refueling. The airport measured safety data and ensured readiness for comprehensive support of this aircraft model.
The flight completed all tests and departed for Chengdu Shuangliu Airport at 11:16 am.
