On July 19, amid the winds of the Bohai Sea, the world's largest wind turbine began generating power at the Huaneng Xianrendao Thermal Power Plant in Yingkou, Liaoning province.

With a domestication rate exceeding 99 percent, the wind turbine uses cutting-edge technology developed by Xi'an Zhongche Yongdian Jielie Wind Power Co, a powerhouse in the field of wind power equipment in Xi'an.

This colossal white windmill set global records with a rotor diameter of 260 meters and a single unit power of 18 megawatts. It can generate 18,000 kilowatt-hours of clean energy per hour at full wind speed, a 125-percent increase compared to the largest 8 MW turbine currently operational in Liaoning.

In recent years, the company has been making waves with its offshore wind power projects, consistently setting records both for China and the world.

According to Mi Xingshe, the company's general manager, the company's installed capacity of offshore generators has reached 3,000 MW, and it is now developing a 25 MW ultra-high power density direct-drive generator for deep-sea applications.

Moving forward, the company will maintain a focus on making technological breakthroughs, driving industrial transformation and upgrading, accelerating the formation of new quality productive forces, and contributing more green and vibrant energy to comprehensive green economic and social development.
