Wuxi boxer advances to round of 16 at Paris Olympics

Boxer Xu Zichun from Jiangyin, a county-level city in Wuxi, Jiangsu, defeated Italian ace Irma Testa 3-2 in the women's 57kg category and advanced to the round of 16 on July 31 (Paris time) at the Paris Olympic Games.

The women's 57kg round of 16 matches will be held from August 2 to 3.

Born in 1996, Xu is among the first batch of female boxers in Jiangsu.
