Synchronized swimming champions perform in Sanya to cheer on Olympic athletes

On July 29, synchronized swimming world champion twins Jiang Wenwen and Jiang Tingting performed a spectacular show at Atlantis Sanya to support the Olympic athletes in Paris.

"This performance is different from our previous ones. This time, it took place in a pure seawater environment. The Ambassador Lagoon is home to 86,000 marine creatures, which posed some difficulty for our performance, making it quite a challenge," Jiang Wenwen said.

The twins expressed their hope that the event would not only rally support for the Chinese Olympic athletes competing in Paris and achieve good results but also raise awareness for synchronized swimming as a sport.

From July 27 to Aug 16, Atlantis Sanya is scheduled to host two underwater cheering ceremonies daily. During the period, activities such as swimming, badminton, archery, surfing, paddleboarding, and diving are set to be offered, inviting visitors to experience the thrill of sports while enjoying their time in Hainan.
