Wuxi Sino-European Industrial Innovation Zone advances with high-quality projects

The Wuxi Sino-European Industrial Innovation Zone at Meicun sub-district in Wuxi is driving forward with a focus on high-quality industrial projects. Spanning a planned area of 24.5 square kilometers, the innovation zone is rapidly advancing its construction. It includes four major industrial cooperation sub-zones: Sino-German, Sino-Israeli, Sino-French, and Sino-Swiss.

Upon completion, the innovation zone is set to attract over 100 projects from multinational European companies, more than 200 European technology innovation enterprises, and over 10 European industrial innovation centers.

Among the prominent enterprises is German company Vibracoustic, a global leader in automotive shock absorbers. Vibracoustic established its presence in Meicun 20 years ago, and today, Vibracoustic (Wuxi) Vibration Isolators serves as the Asia-Pacific headquarters for the Group.

"We remain optimistic about the Chinese market and continue to invest in expansion," said the president of Vibracoustic Asia-Pacific. This year, the Wuxi company is advancing a 40-million-euro ($43.3 million) air spring project, which is expected to triple its production capacity and generate additional sales exceeding 1.2 billion yuan ($165.48 million).
